Job Description
Drive across Canada and the U.S. as an Owner-Operator with Bison Transport. This role involves long-haul trips averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles monthly and requires a flexible schedule.
Bison Transport seeks experienced Owner-Operators for cross-border long-haul routes. Drivers will journey southbound to the lower 48 states and northbound into Canadian provinces. Successful candidates must commit to a flexible schedule, covering 24 days per month, while hauling various commodities including meat and alcohol.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive open-board routes between Canada and the U.S.
• Average 10,000 to 12,000 miles monthly on long-haul trips
• Maintain flexible weekend departure schedule
• Adhere to safety regulations while on the road
• Assist in lifting cargo as required
Requirements:
• 24 months of tractor-trailer experience required
• Valid Class 1/AZ License needed
• Reliable and punctual in availability
