Aerotek is hiring an Overhead Crane Operator for our client located in Delta, BC
Job Description
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move materials throughout the shop.
- Load and unload trucks using proper material handling procedures.
- Assist welders, fabricators, painters, and other trades personnel with various shop tasks.
- Cross-train in multiple departments to support production requirements and operational needs.
- Pick, stage, and lay out parts and materials for fabricators and welders.
- Assist with cleaning and preparing steel surfaces using sanding pads and grinders under the direction of shop personnel.
- Perform basic bolt-on assemblies as directed.
- Sort, organize, and count bolts, fasteners, and other hardware.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Perform additional shop duties as assigned including:
