Description
As an Outreach Worker (Move- On Accommodation) you will support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to move from crisis into safe, stable accommodation and towards independent living.
The successful candidate will be based in Pool, working from a move-on accommodation setting and providing support to clients residing there.
You will also be required to provide Outreach support from time to time to cover absence or during particularly busy periods across Redruth, Pool, Camborne and the surrounding areas. You will locate and engage with people sleeping out, sofa surfing and those at risk of becoming homeless, building positive relationships and providing advice and guidance on finding accommodation.
The role includes lone working in the community, requiring the ability to work independently, manage risk effectively and follow lone working procedures. You must be flexible as the exact location and hours of work may vary depending...
