Oracle peoplesoft Database administrator

Responsibilities

UNESCAP is hosting UN Secretariat’s Enterprise Application Center - Bangkok whose purpose is to develop and support a wide array of in-house enterprise applications with Oracle and MS-SQL databases back-end. These databases require constant monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and software maintenance in order to provide the highest performance and stability required for corporate systems. The consultant will bring external experience in Oracle and MS-SQL databases administration, troubleshooting, and optimization to help build the capacity of the UN Secretariat team.

The consultant is expected to carry out the following responsibilities:

- Provide technical expertise for Oracle and MS SQL database servers.
- Develop performance tuning and maintenance plan for Oracle and MS-SQL database enterprise applications.
