Responsibilities of the Ophthalmic Tech:
Prep patients for Ophthalmologists.Triages telephone issues and documents in chart.Open and close examination rooms, cleans as necessary.Performs visual field testing, a-scan and corneal topography.Performs accurate refractions.Complete a thorough medical work-up prior to the patient being seen by the Ophthalmologist.
