Operator

This position operates machinery in the cook, distillation, evaporation, and centrifuge areas of a dry mill ethanol plant. Primary functions are to operate machines and the computer control system for the plant; test and make adjustments to the equipment in order to optimize plant efficiencies; operate cook/fermentation areas; operate machinery for distillation and energy center; and to ensure that the operation of such machinery remains in compliance with all applicable Company standards and government regulations.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Operates process equipment including testing and adjust the equipment in order to optimize plant efficiencies, handles bulk chemicals and assists team members on the plant site.
• Performs Cleaning in Place (CIP) routines on all required process equipment in the distillation/de-watering areas
