Ledcor Highways Ltd. is looking for an Operator to oversee highway maintenance in Chapleau, Ontario. This role suits individuals with a DZ or AZ license eager to enhance local roadway safety.
You will perform winter and seasonal maintenance, applying your skills to operate trucks and heavy machinery. This team-oriented position is perfect for those who enjoy working outside while engaging in vital community upkeep activities. Safety is a top priority, as you will conduct various labor duties alongside driving responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate snowplow trucks and other machinery
• Maintain Ontario highways and assist colleagues
• Engage in labor-intensive tasks such as pothole repairs
• Work in diverse outdoor weather conditions
• Participate in seasonal safety and maintenance efforts
Requirements:
• Valid AZ or DZ license with air endorsement
• Physically able to lift weights up to 50 lbs
• Provide a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract
