**Job Title: Operator Assistant**
**Job Description**
The Operator Assistant supports daily yard and shop operations by safely directing rail cars, loading and unloading ethanol and propane products, and assisting with inventory tracking. This role works closely with a small operations team to ensure chemicals are handled and delivered safely, while performing physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment and occasionally interacting with customers and drivers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Direct rail cars via radio to ensure safe and accurate positioning for loading and unloading.
+ Load and unload ethanol, propane, and other products using appropriate equipment and safe handling procedures.
+ Perform heavy lifting of products and materials, including items weighing 70 pounds or more, while following proper lifting techniques.
