Operations/ Warehouse Apprentice

Overview

SWIFTPAK LIMITED – this role will assist and support the Operations & Logistics department, taking responsibility for the receipt of goods. You will check the quality of goods received, maintain an accurate stock count, label and locate items correctly in the system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe receipt of goods inwards
• Check all deliveries for accuracy and quality
• Accurate processing of goods through the in‑house computer system
• Operate a Flexi forklift
• Oversee accurate upkeep of stock records both computerised and on paper
• Handle the loading/unloading of goods from vehicles
• Maintain warehouse and handling equipment to a safe standard
• Accurate picking of orders

Additional Duties

• Spend time in Procurement and Sales
• Assist with light deliveries if you have a driving licence
