Job Description
Operations Supervisor – Slegg Building Materials, Duncan, BC.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Oversee coordination of shipping, operations, and transportation teams.
- Provide clear direction to operations staff to maximize effectiveness.
- Assist the Operations Manager with operations management duties.
- Assist the General Manager with operations management duties.
- Measure and report effectiveness of the warehouse, shipping, operations, and transportation teams.
- Travel to locations for training, support, and supervision as needed.
- Measure and support maintenance programs and servicing.
- Provide coaching to all operations teams.
- Enforce the company’s safety program.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by delivery schedules and workflow.
