Operations Supervisor - Afternoons

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Toronto Branch Manager or the site designate, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising all operating and maintenance staff to assure safe, efficient production of the facility while maintaining zero harm in a fast-paced work environment. Data analysis, facilitation and knowledge transfer will be a significant component of the role. The role requires the ability to:

• Prioritize and effectively respond to competing demands for resources.
• Understand waste classifications and best methods of processing or disposal.
• Troubleshoot and demonstrate organizational skills.
• Demonstrate strong team-player ability while working independently.
• Rotate between shifts and accommodate flexible hours (e.g., 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, 11:00 pm–7:00 am).
