About the positionWe are seeking two In Vivo Pharmacologists（one position specialized in muscle physiology, and another position specialized in neurobiology) to join our team of Target Progression at Novo Nordisk Research Centre China. This open-rank role will support in vivo pharmacology for target validation and early pipeline at Novo Nordisk in cardiometabolic diseases. You will collaborate across disciplines to generate high-quality efficacy and mechanistic evidence and to inform drug discovery decisions.Key responsibilitiesDesign, execute, and interpret rodent pharmacology studies to support drug discovery programs and translational strategies in cardiometabolic disease areas including diabetes, obesity and comorbidities (MASH, ASCVD, HF, CKD etc.).Analyze data and translate findings into actionable conclusions (e.g., PD/efficacy relationships, mechanism hypotheses, biomarker implications).Contribute to in vivo model selection, development and refinement based on project needs, in...
