Job Description
Serve as an On-site Geotechnician to support geological data analysis. Engage in field activities while living in a camp environment near Thunder Bay.
In this full-time role, you will assist Geologists by collecting and analyzing data required for exploration projects. Responsibilities include core cutting, data tracking, and effective communication in a collaborative setting. Your commitment to safety and organized workspace will enhance the overall efficiency of field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze field data with QGIS
• Cut and measure geological core samples
• Update sample tracking spreadsheets
• Navigate the field using GPS or compass
• Maintain organization in your workspace
Requirements:
• High School diploma required
• Preferably a geology technician certificate
• At least 1 year in a labor position
• Remote camp living experience is beneficial
• Strong dedication to safety and collaboration
