Job Description
In this role you will:
- Build strong, transferable administrative and customer service skills while supporting daily operations at the Canadian Red Cross Headquarters in Ottawa
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Greet visitors and maintain security protocols, including sign‑in procedures and access control
- Support office operations through mail handling, courier coordination, and supply management
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to maintain records and communications
- Assist the Facilities Department with administrative tasks and gain exposure to broader organizational functions
What we are looking for:
- Completion of secondary school and/or enrollment in a post‑secondary program (college or university).
- Little to no prior work experience required; relevant work experience coursework or volunteer experience is an asset.
