OCEAN - Hotel General Manager

Part of our Hotel Administration team on our Ocean vessels, the Hotel General Manager manages the entire Hotel Operation, coordinating and leading the Hotel Department Heads onboard. The role sets the standard among the team and ensures all crew deliver service in accordance with Viking’s STAR Service Standard. The Hotel General Manager reports to the Director of Hotel Operations.

• Plan and oversee the entire Hotel operation on board, including Entertainment, Shop, Concessionaire, Food and Beverage events and liaison between Deck and Engine departments.
• Plan and manage cruise layouts with Department Heads, ensuring accurate and efficient execution in line with Viking’s Star Service Standards.
• Oversee management and control of sales of shore excursions, future cruises and tour dispatches, verifying revenue reports against target.
