Observability Architect

When it comes to technology transformation you might think one of the hardest things is implementing a solution. It's not. It’s choosing the right bloody one in the first place.

My client is looking for an experienced Observability Architect to help them decide which application monitoring platform is the best fit for their business.

They're currently assessing Grafana and Datadog, but they're looking for someone who can remain objective throughout the process. Someone who's worked with both products (or at the very least has experience comparing enterprise monitoring and observability platforms) and can recommend the right solution based on requirements rather than personal preference.

This isn't just an RFP exercise either. In an ideal world the successful consultant will help run the evaluation, build a proof of concept, oversee implementation of the chosen platform, and support the business through knowledge transfer into BAU...
