Nursing- Statistician, Nursing Development

Duties:

The statistician for the Department of Nursing is an integral part of the Magnet Recognition Program, the Strategic Plans of Mather Hospital, the Department of Nursing and the Voyage to Excellence. Assist nurses in the design and implementation of nursing research studies, evidence based practice nursing projects and performance (quality) improvement activities in the Department of Nursing. These activities apply valid scientific techniques and utilize information attained from professional literature, baselines, benchmarks, concurrent and historical data sources in order to structure uncompromised and efficient analyses.

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree required (major in Nursing, Science, Education or Mathematics preferred). Master of Science Degree in Mathematics or Statistics preferred.
