Key Responsibilities
- Maintain patient files, encounter information, clinical data, and other information in a careful and confidential manner via EMR software.
- Answer inquiries in a helpful, respectful and efficient manner.
- Review and process faxes electronically, including patient referrals.
- Examine the health of patients to help make proper diagnoses of clinical conditions and prescribe medication, treatments, and/or follow‑up care as required.
- Educate, advise, and empower patients on preventive healthcare and disease prevention.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals.
