The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works for the Medicine department at Grey Nuns Hospital. The NP is a self-directed practitioner who functions in an extended role within the Primary Care Hospital Team (PCHT). This position is full‑time and will have the NP role as a partner of the care team of Hospital Medicine based out of the emergency department, focusing primarily on timely, thorough ED admissions. Communicating with the team, patients, and their families is a priority. Strong skills in decision making, prioritization, and clinical judgement are required.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations or Program Manager, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) is employed in a variety of settings across the continuum of care, including acute care and continuing care.
