The Nurse Practitioner under the supervision of the Physician and in collaboration with referring specialists, assist in the consultation, diagnosis, treatment and overall management of the patient’s care.Provides patient with appropriate care plan as well as support opportunities for symptom and side effect management.
Essential Functions
Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval as needed for symptom and pain management.
Identifies/evaluates issues; reaches sound conclusions; generates alternatives; makes accurate and timely decisions with regard to sound patient care and communicates effectively with the Physicians and other medical specialists. Able to make tentative diagnoses and recommendations regarding the management and treatment of patients.
