Your Opportunity:
The Cardiac Sciences department is currently recruiting a part-time, Nurse Clinician (NC) position, in the Cardiac Specialty Clinics. The NC’s current assignment is responsible for coordinating the collaboration of the multidisciplinary team to provide the necessary investigations, care and treatment of patients and families referred to the Cardio Oncology and Amyloid clinic. The NC triages and assesses the appropriateness of referrals to each of these clinics and consults with the associated Cardiologist regarding plan of care. The NC orders and reviews tests and clinical investigations in accordance with clinical algorithms under physician direction. They are also required to provide a significant component of clinical teaching, counselling, follow up care and bedside care as required.
