Job Summary
Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks with front, side, or rear‑end load lift attachments depending on the line of business and type of truck. They transport material to disposal, transfer or recycle facilities when trucks reach legal load capacity. Commercial Drivers provide pickup service of containers filled with waste or recyclable material, which may weigh in excess of 1,000 pounds and require maneuvering in tight spaces. Residential Drivers collect household waste or recyclable material and must safely maneuver in residential environments.
