Notre Dame - Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a resilient, adaptable, and confident Cover Supervisor to support a range of secondary schools across Plymouth. In this pivotal role, you will supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged and learning continues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies, maintaining a positive, safe learning environment.
• Ensure pupils stay on task, offering support and clarification where needed (teaching is not required).
• Follow safeguarding procedures and escalation concerns appropriately.
• Keep accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and completed work.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings, year groups, and subject areas as needed.
