Job Description

Macsteel Meyerton is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented NDT Technician to join its Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing non‑destructive testing inspections on steel products and components to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations.

Requirements A comprehensive career history must accompany the application, including full details of educational institutions attended, training completed, employment history, temporary assignments, and any periods of unemployment up to the date of application. Minimum NQF Level 4–5 qualification (Grade 12/Matric plus a Higher Certificate or equivalent). Relevant post‑school qualification in Non‑Destructive Testing, including Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 1 certification.
