• Process customer purchases using cash registers and point-of-sale systems, accepting cash, debit, credit, and other payment methods.
• Scan, bag and verify merchandise for accuracy and correct pricing.
• Balance cash drawer, perform end-of-shift reconciliation, and prepare transaction reports.
• Assist customers with inquiries, returns, exchanges, and basic product information in a professional manner.
• Adhere to store policies for refunds, loss prevention, and inventory control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restock supplies, and report damaged or missing items.
