New Programs Engineer (Quantum-Optic)

The position involves multidisciplinary and collaborative work in space programs related to quantum and optical technologies, especially Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). You will be able to work in real space programs with the aim of implementing these state‑of‑the‑art technologies in commercial satellites, starting from the definition and feasibility phase, and ending with launch, operation, and commercialization. Therefore, a deep knowledge of these matters, experience in managing space programs, and willingness to work together with an experienced team are required. Within the New Programs department, you will have the opportunity to work in cooperation with industry, academia and customers, in new and challenging areas developing technologies which will end up as practical implementations in Space.
