Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer
Position based in Tampere, Finland. We are seeking a Lead NPI Engineer to join our global FACTS (NPI) team. The Product Delivery Group (PDG) for power electronics‑based products STATCOM and SVC is located in Tampere, Finland, while the PDG for FSC and SC is in Saratoga Springs, United States. This role focuses on control system research and development around SVC and STATCOM solutions, reporting to the NPI Program Manager in Finland.
Key Tasks
- Research and development around control system application and protection design for SVC and STATCOM.
- Implement innovative control system architectures, features and algorithms to meet demanding customer specifications.
- Specify, design, validate and document control and protection applications and solutions within simulation environments.
