Job Description
Manpower Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer Group Lead, responsible for leading Manufacturing Engineering functions for powertrain/propulsion programs. Their primary role is to guide their Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet all objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost for both new model (NM), non-new model (NNM), and adaptation programs. Onsite role at Trenton, MI plant.
**Main responsibilities include:**
+ Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies
+ Oversee engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), sourcing, technical evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
+ Manage and prioritize the Non-New Model (NNM) powertrain programs requests and ensure that approved programs are completed on time and within budget
