Job Description
Note: Position is 7.5 Hours per Day, Monday to Friday, 12 Months per Year.
Purpose of Position
The Network Services Specialist is responsible for the computer network connecting all remote sites to the centralized services at the Division Office and connectivity to the internet. This position is responsible for the security required to ensure privacy and integrity of the network and data there in; while allowing Divisional equipment and personal equipment access to the applications required by all Division staff and students.
Responsibilities
Are established by the Director of Learning and Business Technologies within the parameters of the job profile.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of two-year post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in Computer Engineering or Networking (Microsoft), with a minimum of five years work-related experience.
