Network & Security Engineer (Getafe)

Responsibilities

A vacancy for a Network & Security Engineer (CCN-STIC/ENS) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space Military Aircraft Weapon Systems CoC in Madrid Area. The position will be based at Spanish Air Force National Support Center (CLAEX, Torrejón Air Base) associated with the Technical Assistance Contract.

Mission: The CLAEX Support team within Engineering is mainly dedicated to provide Avionics Upgrades to the Spanish Airforce Combat fleet. This mission can only be achieved by using Rigs, SW Tools, facilities and networks with the required security level.

You contribution will be focused on 2 main areas, namely 1 - Networks/Security and 2 - Rig/laboratory maintenance.

You will be responsible for the design, configuration, and administration of local area network infrastructures (switches, routers, VLANs, STP, etc.) and private networks (IPSec VPNs, SSL/TLS, secure tunnels).
