Network DNS Architect

Our client is looking for a Network DNS Architect to join their team on a six‑month initial contract, working full time onsite in Wokingham. This role is Inside IR35 and requires candidates who hold or are eligible for an SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable DNS infrastructures (on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments)
• Lead DNS strategy including high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery
• Manage and optimise enterprise DNS platforms (e.g., Infoblox, BIND, Microsoft DNS)
• Implement DNS security best practices including DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation, and threat protection
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (particularly UK government secure environments)
• Troubleshoot complex DNS and network‑related issues
• Collaborate with network, security, and cloud engineering teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to teams
