Job Description
Purpose The Network and Systems Specialist maintains the overall operation and security of network, server and application system hardware and operating system, hosted applications, and associated equipment.
Such systems include, but are not limited to POS, access control, surveillance, other centrally hosted software solutions, and classroom technologies.
The Network and Systems Specialist regularly monitors system performance and makes recommendations for improved operability and efficiency, as well as configures backup solutions and assists with disaster recovery planning.
This position also oversees and maintains classroom and lab environments and provides recommendations for improving technology for instruction.
