Need occasional babysitting for two children after school

We are looking for a reliable babysitter to help with our two kids after school a few afternoons per week. Our 6-year-old attends school nearby and comes home around 3:30 PM, while our 9-year-old has after-school activities some days. Ideal candidate is warm, patient, and comfortable with light homework supervision, preparing a simple snack, and ensuring safety until a parent returns. We’d appreciate someone who can start gently at 4:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional later hours on weekends or when school events arise. A brief background check and references would be great. We speak English at home and would prefer someone who can engage the kids with crafts or outdoor play when weather allows.
