MWR Golf Operations Assistant

Summary This position is located in the Golf Branch, Recreation Division, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department within Navy Region Southwest (NRSW). The incumbent assists with the business and administrative management of the golf shop operation. The duties are normally carried out with minimal supervision and during the absence of the golf course manager and assistant manager, typically afternoons, evenings or on weekends/holidays. Responsibilities 70% Retail Golf Shop: The incumbent assists the Golf Operations Manager and Assistant Golf Operations Manager in the efficient operation and administration of the Golf Pro Shop and related areas including retail space, club and cart rentals, and the driving range program. A significant amount of time is spent controlling the sales counter and cash register operation.
