Position Summary
Under direct supervision, it is responsible for the procurement of Indirect materials, equipment, services, etc., according to the requirements of the areas of the company, performs price negotiations and it delivers, evaluates providers of importance for the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop MRO suppliers to ensure optimal quality and delivery.
- Develop, maintain and foster strong MRO supplier relationships.
- Use problem solving tools (5W, A3, VSM, Kaizen, etc.) to solve specific problems related to MRO supplier deliveries and cost.
- Ensure system key parameters are maintained (price, lead times, MOQ, primary supplier) to improve MRO supplier performance.
- Conduct MRO supplier visits as required and participate in the qualification of quality system audits.
- Make sure invoices on hold are fixed and work on root causes to prevent recurrence.
