Job Title: MRI Imaging Assistant (I.A.(MR)(ARRT)) Created: 2026 Department: MRI FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt Reports to: MRI Supervisor, Facility Administrator/Clinical Manager Position Summary The Imaging Assistant, Magnetic Resonance (MR) supports MRI technologists by ensuring patient safety, assisting with preparation and positioning, and improving workflow efficiency.
This role does not perform imaging or scanning but enhances patient care and safety while allowing technologists to focus on diagnostic procedures.
The Imaging Assistant is a credentialed professional who support technologists to enhance patient care, safety, and operational efficiency.
They perform essential patient-facing and safety-sensitive tasks within the MR environment.
