MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Youth Center at JOINT BASE CHARLESTON SC. The position may require the incumbent to transport children in a government vehicle. Driver's license must be obtained and maintained. Physical Effort: Position requires physical stamina, and manual labor is required. Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) certifying ability to drive a bus (up to 44 passenger) is required II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: a. Vehicle Operator: Performs pre- and post-operation inspection of assigned vehicles. Adjust fluid and pressure levels as necessary. Provides driving services as scheduled. (40%) b.
