Summary This position is located in the Transportation Section of the Engineering Service at VA Hudson Valley Health Care System - Franklin Delano Roosevelt Hospital in Montrose, NY. The Motor Vehicle Operator is responsible for providing all transportation assistance to the medical center, which include transporting patients and family members, supplies equipment, construction material, office and hospital furniture, and clean linen and uniforms. Responsibilities DESIGNATED DRUG-TESTING POSITION: Applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA. Applicants will not be appointed to the position if a verified positive drug test result is received.
