Responsibilities
- Hands‑on operation of injection molding machine and auxiliary equipment such as automation handling system, mold temperature controller, chiller, mixer etc.
- Apply optimal injection parameters to achieve dimensional stability and reduce common molding defects.
- Carry out mold testing independently and lead mold trials ensuring molds meet requirements.
- Establish guidelines for mold testing procedures and safety.
- Follow up closely on mold development stages – design, fabrication, assembly, trials and testing – coordinating with vendors, planners and production to ensure seamless handover.
- Conduct DOE on injection parameters, analyze data to support overall studies.
- Serve as go‑to expert for resolving injection‑related issues.
- Participate in DFM to provide advice on part moldability.
