Position Description
SUMMARY:
A minimum of 12 months experience in related fabricating/specialist/repairman work. Must be able to apply math and reading skills. Must be familiar with fabricating practices, design jigs and fixtures, work with metals, wood and fiberglass.
Essential Functions:
Serve as a Model Maker/Repairman/Specialist in the TAPC section with the responsibility for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of training aids, VISMOD’s and devices required by the Training Support Center. Form detailed instructions and simple diagrams/sketches and blueprints, fabricate requested devices and training aids to include scaled down and full-scale models.
