Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level preventive maintenance and repairs, including tire replacements, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics and basic structural repairs on tractor or trailer equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair ABS system

• Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory

• Assist with the onboarding and mentorship of tractor technician trainees

• Follow all safety requirements while onsite and at customer locations

• Accurately complete work orders and other written materials according to established procedures

• Properly document damage to company equipment to estimate cost of repairs • Demonstrate proficient use of a cutting torch and welding equipment to perform mid-level repairs on chassis, frames, and other equipment

• Patch holes in trailer or container side panels and roofs

• Perform annual AA trailer and FHWA brake inspection...
