Mobile Care Assistant

Job Overview

McCarthy & Stone is hiring a Mobile Care Assistant to provide personal care and domestic services to older adults across multiple developments. The role is mobile and field‑based, requiring travel between sites with parking provided. Hours are full‑time or part‑time on a rota that includes early mornings, evenings and alternate weekends between 7am and 10pm.

Responsibilities

• Support homeowners with daily activities, personal hygiene, medication assistance and companionship.
• Provide domestic support: cleaning, shopping and general household tasks.
• Maintain communal areas to a high standard.
• Assist with social activities, transport arrangements and attending appointments to enhance wellbeing.
• Travel between developments, using your own vehicle with travel expenses covered and mileage paid at 43p per mile.
