Enhance your Mining Engineering skills with Skeena as a Co-op Student at the Eskay Creek Mine. Gain hands-on experience in a remote mining environment while supporting technical operations and data management.
As part of the Technical Services team, you will work closely with engineers and field technicians. This Co-op role offers a unique opportunity to connect theory with practice in a diverse mining setting. You'll engage in a variety of tasks, including blast-hole assay support and productivity simulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support for surface mining and construction activities
• Assist engineers in data analysis and technical deliverables
• Manage and analyze drill hole data effectively
• Prepare and present production reports accurately
• Support field QA/QC work and geological mapping
Requirements:
• Active enrolment in Mining Engineering or related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
