PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To support the delivery of the Business Plan parameters through the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, implementation of best practices and the application of proven technology.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential.
• Mining/Mining Engineering Degree or NQF 7 equivalent
• Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency
• 7 years underground mining experience at a metalliferous mine
• 5 years Shift Supervisor experience
• 3 -5 years Mine Overseer experience
• Minimum 5 years management experience (inclusive of Leading Teams)

COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledge of and exposure to narrow tabular reef mining
