Opportunity

Hudbay Minerals Inc. is seeking a Mine Engineer at our Copper Mountain Mine in Princeton, BC. This position is a 5x2 or 7x7, day shift schedule depending on business needs.

Please note that this opportunity is NOT a fly-in-fly-out position.

Copper Mountain Mine is located near the town of Princeton, British Columbia at the center of the scenic Similkameen Valley.

Summary

Reporting to the senior mine engineers, the Mine Engineer supports the safe and efficient operation of Copper Mountain Mine through technical analysis, planning, and engineering support.

Functional Roles

• Drill & Blade: Develop and optimize blast designs including timing, wall control, powder factor optimization, and fragmentation performance.
