Responsibilities
- Coaching and instructing apprentices
- Detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions
- Repairing or replacing defective machinery parts
- Performing routine maintenance work on machinery
- Installing machinery and equipment
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Work setting: Machinery installation, maintenance, service, repair, machine set‑up
Qualifications
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
