Job Description
Ambitek is currently recruiting for experienced Skilled Structural MIG Welders to join our client's busy fabrication team in Winsford. This is a long-term opportunity offering excellent rates and consistent work for reliable and qualified welders.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding of structural steel beams and end-plates.
- Use of solid wire MIG in the down-hand position.
- Perform 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet welds, including start/stop operations.
- Work to engineering drawings and welding specifications.
- Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in structural MIG welding (preferably in a fabrication shop).
- Ability to complete a 10mm multi-run T-joint fillet weld to a high standard.
- Must pass a trade test prior to starting.
