We are seeking a skilled Welder who will be responsible for fitting and welding steel tray racks for grocery stores. The position involves MIG welding on 18-gauge to 14-gauge aluminum in a non-climate controlled facility, using a thumb switch and silicon bronze filler rod. The role requires an ability to read blueprints and perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up welding machines based on the job or using a Welding Procedure Specification.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
+ MIG weld steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings.
+ Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
+ Follow Welding Procedure Specifications.
+ Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
