**Job Title: MIG Welder – Fabrication Shop**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on MIG welding and fabricating large steel roof sections in a fabrication shop environment. You will perform primarily flat welds on roof modules close to the ground, working from your knees for extended periods. The position starts on a specific roof fabrication project with strong potential to transition into a long-term role that offers cross-training in fabrication, machining, and CNC laser operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform entry-level MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel components for roof sections.
+ Weld from a kneeling position for most of the shift, completing welds approximately one foot off the ground.
+ Lay down consistent, structurally sound welds, including fillet welds, T-welds, and welding I-beams to steel sheets.
