**Introduction**
IBM Quantum is seeking talented design engineers to join the quantum components team at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY to contribute to the development of advanced high-performance circuits for quantum computing systems. We focus on microwave circuit designs that enable the creation of differentiated solutions for Josephson parametric devices such as quantum limited amplifiers and isolators.
**Your role and responsibilities**
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel readout chains through the design of microwave filters for use with traveling-wave parametric amplifiers (TWPAs) and resonator structures for use in Josephson junction devices. Experience in circuit design of exploratory technologies, such as superconducting circuits, is desirable but not required.
